The chi powers are a nice change, definitely. The categories are structured better and the katana mastery tree is something you get without needing to spend that many points (unless you want to make the techniques stronger, of course!). The power system that's been put into function into the second game is an improvement in my opinion. After the first few missions you really couldn't bother using them anymore, they didn't really do much. They took shurikens out of quick use in the second game which I think was an understandable decision. I really like the idea that was put into the game, to make things different rather than only cosmetic. In the second game however, you can get drops or mission rewarded weapons (which include other things rather than swords only). The first game had this katana that was purely cosmetic and you could've changed from the game's menu and wouldn't really make a difference.

What I do very much like in the 2nd game that I see as a huge improvement is the weapons. Ninjas didn't have shurikens ( apart from one-offs). "Ancient ninja technique" of vanishing and so on. Something that I've seen done in the 2nd game but not in the 1st (or at least I don't remember it being done) is this Hollywood ninja image. Except the tip, looks too dull for thrusting.

It is a reboot of the 1997 game of the same name, developed by 3D Realms and published by GT Interactive, licensed out by Devolver Digital, featuring the same character Lo Wang and a modern era setting with Asian mythology elements, all of which were redesigned with modern, full 3D graphics and new gameplay features. Besides, I can't know what that goddamn chi-powered Zilla katana can do, at least in the 2nd game where it looks a bit more functional. Shadow Warrior is a first-person shooter game developed by Flying Wild Hog and published by Devolver Digital for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Linux and OS X. I know it's a game, but in a game like this realism does the thing for me in terms of fun and enjoyment. The basic starting katana used in both games is pretty nice, although it feels weird to see it cut through steel and other materials (referring to the 2nd game here, since there are robots and enemies of the sort). His story is so much better than what Kamiko has. I liked Hoji more than Kamiko, because his humor's better (in my opinion) and I like the character more altogether. I definitely see much improvement in that. I did like the 2nd game's art and graphic style, quality better than the 1st game's. It's one of a kind you don't stumble upon one of these too often.I very much liked both of them, but for different reasons.I have many more things to say but I wouldn't like to be here all day! I'll write a few of my thoughts here:

SHADOW WARRIOR 1 MOVIE

How rubbish can an action movie get, actually? Watch "Shadow Warriors" (aka "Techno-Fear") and find out.

The whole film long, I only wondered about two things: Why are those people doing these things and why are they speaking such drivel? My intelligence must have been lacking, because I just couldn't quite grasp this film. Oh sure, a fast-paced action-packed thrill-ride for sure. Jumping off bridges, hanging on helicopters, blowing things up. So, the whole film's pretty much a mess without a plot, consisting of scenes featuring two body-builder idiots with computer chips in their brains chasing each other through Ukraine landscapes and beating the crap out of themselves. Terry O'Quinn is terribly wasted as the evil scientist with a greedy plan.

SHADOW WARRIOR 1 SERIES

The original series is made up of one game, Shadow Warrior (1997), and two expansions Twin Dragon (1998), and Wanton Destruction (2005), and a reboot with three entries: Shadow Warrior (2013), Shadow Warrior 2 (2016), and third Shadow Warrior 3. It's somewhat of a Z-grade "Universal Soldier" rip-off (I can't even imagine all its sequels getting as bad as "Shadow Warriors"). Shadow Warrior is a series of first-person shooter video games that focuses on the exploits of Lo Wang, a modern ninja warrior who fights through hordes of demons. There's only one word to sum up this sad action/sci-fi clunker: incompetence. This is such an unbelievable heap of rubbish that it's worth a watch.
